Altoid containers

Quick question. Has anyone used these? I'm not talking about the
regular Altoid mint container with the hinges, those would leak.
I'm talking about the "sour" tins. They look like a largish metal
can of Skoal. They are a good micro size and I have a couple laying
around I'd like to use. Does anyone have any experience with
these? Nothing came up on a search.

I've seen them used, but alot of people use those, and then put them in a plastic bag. This is probably a good idea. They might work without the bag, but you might want to still put the stamp and log book in a bag and then put it into the container.

I believe I have read of others using these, or something similar. My
concern would be using them in wilderness where animals might be attracted
to the scent (Do raccoons like wintergreen, lol)

I find myself looking at the strangest things for microboxes these days. My
problem is my carving skills are not yet refined enough to do the smaller
stamps
